Helping Change a Child's Story
Our philanthropy is CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates)! CASA is a national organization of volunteers who judges appoint to speak for the safety and well-being of abused and neglected children. By being independent investigators and advocates, their volunteers can make all the difference in these children’s lives. Research shows children with a CASA volunteer are much less likely to languish in long-term foster care. CASA is a national cause with 68,000 volunteers in over 970 locations across the country. Last year, they served about a quarter million children, about one-third of the over 780,000 children in foster care. We are blessed to be able to support a branch of CASA right in our own backyard! Our fundraising goes back into our own community, allowing us to help change a child's story right here in Lee County. Meet our Vice President of External Affairs!

My name is Lili Caroline and I have the honor and privilege of serving as Vice President of External Affairs this year. As Theta women, we value acts of service."Commitment to Service" is one of the four points of our kite, so it is
something our chapter prioritizes. Our main philanthropy is Court Appointed Special Advocates, or "CASA," and we are much enough to support the local branch in Lee County. We have been able to raise money for Lee County CASA through our large philanthropy events, KATs & Dogs and Theta Twist, benefits and more. Our women truly value service, through service projects and drives, and it is truly inspiring how much our women love our philanthropy.
I have loved my time as VP of External Affairs and it has been a blessing to be a part of a chapter that is so committed to serving others and making a difference! I look forward to sharing more about our sisterhood and philanthropy during the philanthropy round of recruitment.
Theta Love and Mine,
Lili Caroline Miller
